Altair is from my first home bred litter. He has been slow to mature but it has definitely been worth the wait.
Altair is my first Best in Show Winner, taking this honour at just 20 month of age. He is my second homebred Champion. Along with his litter sister Vega, they have exceeded all of my expectations. He is a multi in show - both specialty & all breeds- & in group winner. Altair is also a specialty challenge winner.
Altair has a beautiful temperament, that is easy to live with & loves his cuddles.
He has started his herding training, gaining his Instinct certificate in 2007. In 2008 Altair completed his Pre-Trial title. 2009 will see him enter the Herding Started arena, hopefully in both A & B course. Altair completed his HSAs title in style with a High in Trial & with a score of 98.5.
Altair is certainly exceeding my expectations with many lovely wins under his belt.
